The majority of the buildings in which the Walshes and Langans lived are gone. Of all the
addresses that I found for them the following buildings remain standing:
In the late 1930s and early 1940s the City of New York took photos of every building in the city! This photos are available at the New York City Archives. Many of the buildings the Walshes and Langans lived in should be avaiable on these films. The problems are:

Third Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets
So much has changed on the Upper East Side since the days when the Walshes and Langans lived in the area. There are lots of new high-rise buildings. This block of third Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets retains some of the old character. Michael Walsh lived at 1307 Third Avenue in this block. | |
Carriages Houses along 73rd Street between
Third and Lexington Avenues Joseph Walsh worked at some point as a coachman for a private family. I do not know who he worked for or where they lived. However, since Joseph and his family lived in the 70s on the Upper East Side, it is highly likely that he worked for a family who lived on Fifth Avenue in the 70s. The carriage houses in this photo are typical of the carriage houses of people who lived on Fifth Avenue. |
